Peggy Li Creations Joins Kiva.org

I have been reading about microloans, small monetary loans to struggling small business owners across the globe. With a small donation of $25 (or more), you can help a farmer or clothing maker, etc. get on their feet and become self-sufficient when they normally wouldn't have a chance qualifying for a loan in their own country.

As a small business owner myself, I thought it would be great to give it a try. Kiva.org, a non-profit based in San Francisco, has gotten good press, so I signed up today.

I choose to help Gloria, a clothing seller in Peru.

Recycled Leather Jewelry Creations

"Going Green" and "Eco-jewelry" are buzzwords of the moment. The threat to the environment is real and every day, and here at Peggy Li Creations handmade jewelry, I have always been committed to recycling all my metal scraps and packaging materials.

I'm also happy to introduce new creations made out of recycled leather remnants! Salvaged from handbag/shoe/clothing designers, these samples and scraps are very very cool, don't you think? I'm excited to start transforming them into Limited Edition one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.

Paris Inspirations
