The first glamorous event of the awards season arrived with a restrained elegance -- whites, Greecian columns, lacy blacks and beaded bodices. And, of course, jewelry!Big trends: jeweled, metallic cuffs (like Angelina Jolie sports). Tons of gold and burnished gold jewelry (Angelina again!).
Another trend -- big, sparkly chandelier earrings, like the ones Jessica Biel (pictured) and Katherine Heigel wore.
